House with shop. Mid C19. Solid rendered walls; slated roof,
hipped to Boutport Street.
3 storeys. 3-window range to Joy Street with one-window return
to Boutport Street. One window on splayed corner. Late C19
shop front to both streets; three-quarter glazed door with
moulded bottom panel on corner; at right hand end of Boutport
Street a pilaster incised with key pattern; entablature with
enriched cornice, finished to right of Boutport Street front
with a carved block and console. To left of Joy Street front a
second door with 4 flush panels. Upper-storey windows have
moulded architraves, those in 2nd storey eared, with
keystones, those in 3rd storey with continued moulded cills.
Barred sashes: 8 over 8 panes on the 2 fronts, 6 over 6 panes
on the splayed corner. Prominent bracketed eaves cornice.
