House, now subdivided. mid C18 with later alterations and
additions. Red brick with coped brick parapet above stone
cornice; slate roof.
2 storeys with basement and attic; main (east) elevation of 3
bays. Central taller and slightly projecting bay has pediment
with oculus in tympanum; Venetian window on 1st floor in
large, round-arched recess; canted bay to ground floor and
basement beneath. Flat, gauged-brick arches to sash windows
with glazing bars. Brick band above ground floor. North return
has semicircular porch in left-hand bay with Doric columns and
panelled back; door with pilaster jambs and decorative
fanlight. Early C19 wing to south; later additions to rear.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: iron handrails to steps.
