Includes: No.1A ST ANDREW'S STREET Plymouth. Commercial premises on corner site. Mid C19. Stucco with stucco detail; roof hidden behind parapet with moulded and modillioned cornice. Large corner-site plan with splayed entrance bay to corner. 3 storeys; 5:1:4 bays fronting 2 streets. Original hornless sashes with glazing bars to upper floors; C20 transomed windows to ground-floor openings. Stucco detail includes: plinth; channelled rustication to ground floor, with impost string and rusticated voussoirs to segmental arches; sill string above; giant pilasters with composite capitals flanking bays to upper floors; pilastered 1st-floor window openings with moulded hoods on consoles and with swagged festoons between, and moulded architraves to 2nd floor window openings. Wide doorway to splayed corner with overlight and pair of glazed and panelled doors; further doorway to right of right-hand return. INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to be of interest.
