Villa. c1832 with later additions and alterations. Stucco over
brick with hipped slate roof, right end brick stack. Single
depth plan with service range at right.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic and basement, 3 first-floor
windows. Central breakforward. Stucco detailing includes end
pilasters to full height and first-floor band, crowning
moulded frieze and cornice. Flight of renewed steps to central
entrance an 8-panel door, the lower panel with fluted
surround, with sidelights and fanlight with radial glazing to
head within distyle Doric porch with architrave, frieze with
triglyphs and metopes, cornice and blocking course. 6/6 sashes
throughout, those to ground floor are taller and set within
slightly wider round-arched recesses, all in plain reveals and
with sills (those to ground floor are incised), tooled
architraves. Attics roof dormers have casement windows. Wide
eaves. Basement has 3/6 sashes. Left return has end pilasters;
6/6 sashes in tooled architraves.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
