House. Dated 1744; C20 alterations. Brown brick in Flemish bond, ground floor of street front whitewashed; slate roof with brick coping and kneelers.
EXTERIOR: two storeys, semi-basement and attic; one bay gable end to road. Entrance in right return. Front has enlarged C20 window to basement, old sashes with exposed weight boxes under cambered wedge arches to ground and first floors; two-light casement in attic. Right return: seven steps lead up to C20 replacement door; basement door below. Projecting two-course brick bands at first and attic floor levels returns across gable end. Tablet on first floor of right return bears date 1744.
INTERIOR: old four-panel doors at three levels, inglenook firebeam, exposed chamfered softwood beams at three levels. Two flights of stairs with winders.
