House, now two dwellings. Dated 1731, with C19 and C20
alterations and additions. Whitened roughcast on stone; slate
roof with stone coped gables and end stacks: porch and bay
windows have lead roofs.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey, 3-bay front. Central half glazed timber
porch with hipped roof encloses 6-panel door with glazed top
panels. At left end is a later inserted 4-panel door. On each
side of porch are 3-light canted bay windows with 4-pane
sashes: windows on first floor are similar recessed sashes
with painted sills. Raised bands at first floor and eaves
levels. Tablet between centre and left window is inscribed
with a heart, the initials H B A and date 1731.
INTERIOR: 6-panel doors, exposed beams and ceiling joists.
