Pair of houses. External structure largely C18 but
incorporating substantial elements of an earlier building.
Roughly coursed and squared stone to No.9, brick to No.8, with
two exposed cruck blades raised on stone plinths visible in
front elevation, each side of No.8. Slate roof.
EXTERIOR AND PLAN: 2 storey, each dwelling a single unit,
double pile plan, with entrance to right. 3-light window to
ground floor in No.9 with re-cut mullions; 2-light mullioned
window above. 3-light casement to No.8, and 2-light
horizontally sliding sash windows to first floor, both iron
with small panes. End wall and axial stacks. Steeply pitched
roof with timber clad verges.
