Thirlestaine Hall OLD BATH ROAD.
Boundary walls to south and east of Thirlestaine Hall with SE
corner piers and gate. c1855-7. Coped stone walls approx 2m
high extending for approx 220m. Vermiculated ashlar piers have
chamfered plinths, frieze, shaped cornices and caps. Cast-iron
and timber gate has latticework to upper part.
A significant streetscape feature, forming part of the setting
for Thirlestaine Hall (qv), also group with Main entrance at
Thirlestaine Hall (qv) and West Entrance to Thirlestaine Hall
(qv), Thirlestaine Road.
