GV II

Public house, probably originally dwelling. Probably late C16
but refurbished early C20. Mock timberwork and render over
timber-frame with thatched roof.
2 storeys, main range and cross-wing plan, with doorway in
left-hand angle of central range, backing on to stack. 3-light
casement windows on each floor in wings, and in main range.
Mock framing to upper storey, jettied in right-hand wing, and
expressed as square panels with tension bracing, possibly
reflecting form of original framing beneath. Stack on inner
angle of right-hand wing, and against rear wall.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
