Pair of houses. c1860. Gault brick, with red brick and stone
dressings and hipped slate roofs with a ridge stack. Chamfered
plinth, first and second floor bands, eaves bands, deep eaves.
3 storeys, 3 bays. Square plan. Margin light sashes to first
and second floors. South front has to right a hipped wing with
a canted bay window and balcony railing, and to left, a square
bay window, all with round heads. Beyond, to right, a set back
entrance bay with a round arched doorway with keystone and
Ionic columns. Beyond, to left, a simpler doorway. Both have
fanlights. Above, to right, a square bay window with crest and
triple sash. To left, 2 sashes. Above again, 3 sashes. Set
back entrance bays on each side have a single sash on each
floor. INTERIOR not inspected.
