House, now a guest house, and attached garden wall and
boundary wall. c1840. Ashlar, with stucco dressings and hipped
slate roof with 3 rendered brick ridge and single side wall
stacks. Modillion eaves. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Irregular L-plan.
Front has a recessed central bay with a square balustraded
porch with panelled Doric pilasters. Half-glazed door with
flanking lights and fanlight. On either side, a tall glazing
bar sash with pilaster surround and cornice on brackets.
Above, 3 smaller glazing bar sashes with eared architraves.
Set back left wing, 2 storeys, has 2 smaller glazing bar
sashes on each floor, with eared architraves.
East front has a bay window to left, and a canted bay window
to right, both 2 storeys.
INTERIOR has plain cantilever dogleg staircase. Principal
rooms have enriched cornices and plaster panelled walls and
fireplaces.
Outside, to south-east, a coped garden wall approx. 30m long,
with a doorway at each end with shaped gable and keystone. To
south, a boundary wall with stepped coping and 5 square piers.
To left, a gateway with flanking wicket.
