Includes: Nos.2 AND 4 MAIN RIDGE SILVER STREET.
Pair of houses now offices. Early C19 with C20 alterations.
Red brick, hipped slate roof, 2 wall stacks, overhanging eaves
with paired brackets.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey, 4-bay front. Each house has to its left a
doorway with 6-panel door, traceried overlight, panelled
reveals, narrow colonettes, frieze, dentilled pedimented. The
surround to the left is C19, that to the right a C20 copy.
Each house has to the right of the doorway a pair of C20
glazing bar sash windows to each floor, with cambered rubbed
brick arches.
The return has a 6-panel door with traceried overlight with
smaller pedimented door surround, moulded pilasters and
brackets.
To the rear a single storey range with glazing bar sashes and
cambered heads.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
