Pair of houses with shop. Late C18, altered C19 and C20. Red
brick in Flemish bond, hipped plain tile roof, wall stack to
left.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys plus attics and cellar, 3-bay front with
moulded and modillion eaves cornice. Off-centre door up 3
steps with small overlight set in dentilled pedimented
doorcase with small half-round engaged pilasters, flanked by
single 3-light plain sashes, with beneath arches to cellar
openings. To the left a C20 shop front with corner entrance.
To 1st floor three 3-light plain sashes and to 2nd floor 3
smaller similar windows. All windows have segmental brick
arches. In the roof 3 gabled glazing bar sash dormers.
Interior of No 2 retains stick baluster stair and some
contemporary joinery.
