House. Early C19 with later alterations. Built for Mr Boughton
jnr, nurseryman. Pinkish-brown brick with stucco sills and
arches, plain tile roof; left end and off-centre right party-wall
stacks with oversailing courses and pots. 2 storeys, 3
first-floor windows. Mainly 2/2 horned sashes throughout, central
first-floor window a 6/6 sash, all in plain reveals, with sills
and flat voussoir arches with keystones. Central entrance, flight
of roll-edged steps to 6-raised-and-fielded-panel door in timber
pilastered surround with overlight and hood.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Forms a good group with Ivy House, No.199 Malvern Road (qv),
built for Mr Boughton snr.
