House, now rest home. c1730-50 with later additions and
alterations including porch c1800 and C20 dormers. Pinkish-brown
brick, stuccoed to front facade, hipped plain tile roof and
external stacks to right and left, slightly truncated but with
pots, 1 further internal stack and external stack to rear
outshut. Central hallway plan with rear outshuts.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attics, 3 first-floor windows. Central
breakforward, chamfered plinth. First floor as central 6/6 sash
and outer renewed imitation 8/8 sashes; all in plain reveals and
with sills and flat arches with keystones. Central entrance in
solid porch with 2 Doric columns, 5-raised-and-fielded-panel door
with overlight with radial glazing bars, pediment. Band over
first floor; modillion eaves cornice. 3 attic dormers, the outer
with 3-light casements, otherwise 2-light casement, pedimented
gables on corbels. Single-storey range to rear has two 8/8 sashes
and moulded cornice.
