2 cottages, now one house. C16 and C17, altered C18, extended
and altered late C20.
MATERIALS: Part timber frame with brick infill, part brick in
English bond. Gabled and hipped old tile roofs.
PLAN: L-plan with extensions on east and south.
EXTERIOR: One and a half storeys and 2 storeys with attic. 2
chimneys with cornice heads and clay pots. C19 and C20
casement windows, some with leaded lights. Entrance (north)
front: 4-bays. Single bay left hand section projects far
forward and has brick ground floor and timber framed first
floor. Narrow gabled dormer on right return breaking eaves,
and 2 other windows. Centre section has 2 gabled dormers with
2-light windows. C20 entrance door on left, below, and single
light window on right. Single bay right hand gable with
3-light mullion and transom window on ground and first floor.
