House. c1700, altered C19.
MATERIALS: Part timber frame with brick infill, part brick in
Flemish bond. Old tile gabled roof.
PLAN: rectangular, 2-cell plan with pent roof over rear
outshut.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. 2 gable projecting chimneys with large
weathered bases, and corniced tops. Chimney on right has tall
clay pot. C19 casement windows. Entrance (south) front:
dentilled brick cornice. 3-bays. Two 3-light casement windows
on first floor. Two 2-light casement windows on ground floor
with large rectangular panes, under cambered-arched brick
heads. Early C20 partly glazed door to right of centre in
plain wooden frame with plain flat hood.
INTERIOR: queen post roof with clasped purlins. 2 chamfered
beams on ground floor with lamb's tongue stops.
