Saddling stables. Late C19. Built of red brick with gabled slate roof with ventilation louvres. Externally it is of nine bays, each divided by brick pilasters and has metal casement windows. The end elevations have circular apertures and cambered openings. Internally it is divided into a number of individual stalls with wooden stall partitions and roof of queenpost type with unusual interrupted tie beam and collar beam, together with original rafters. An unaltered saddling stables to accommodate horses participating in race meetings and part of a group of buildings at Tweseldown Racecourse.
