Shaw Lodge Mill Engine House and Boiler House

A Grade II* Listed Building in Halifax, Calderdale

Shaw Lodge Mills engine house

Uploader's Comments

The taller building is a double beam engine house that is separate from the main mill and obviously drove via a tunnel under the road. The extension closer to the photographer held a horizontal steam engine and the mark of its flywheel is visible on the wall through he open door.
