War Memorial.

MATERIALS: Portland Stone

EXTERIOR: A three-stepped square base surmounted by a plinth, shaft and lantern cross. The front of the plinth is inscribed `1914-1919/ IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF/ (NAMES)/ THEIRS THE GLORY OURS THE GAIN'. Another side of the plinth is inscribed `1939-1945/ (NAMES)'. The memorial stands on a roughly triangular-shaped paved area with two steps and low stone walls on the road side.

INTERIOR: Not applicable.

HISTORY: It is not known exactly when this memorial was erected, but it was presumably in the years immediately after the First World War.
