Quays and slipway. Circa early-mid C19. Dressed granite quays on north, west and south side of Abbey Basin, with slipway and granite bollards on west side. The later causeway and the 1881 Ross Swing Bridge, rebuilt in 1981, on the east side of Abbey Basin are not included. The 1900 dry dock on the south side and Abbey Warehouse on the west side are separately included.
Part of an unusually complete group of harbour structures in Penzance.
