House, now mixed use. Mid C18, altered late C18. In the manner of Thomas Jelly.
MATERIALS: Bath limestone ashlar with Welsh slate roof.
PLAN: Double depth plan.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys and attic. Two windows with architraves and first floor windows with cornice, six/six sashes of late C18 type. Ground floor has central eight/eight sash in plain reveals, flanked by doors, two panels and eight panes to left, six panels to right, continuous timber lintel over, platband above. Crowning cornice and parapet, mansard roof with flat topped dormer with six/six sash, ashlar stack with pots on ridge to left and another at rear to right.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
HISTORY: This house may be a re-fronting of an earlier structure; the elevational treatment has similarities with mid-C18 houses designed by Thomas Jelly.
