Two terrace houses. 1792 with late C19 alterations.
MATERIALS: limestone ashlar, slate and double Roman tile roof.
EXTERIOR: No.1 has small single bay house in two storeys with attic and basement, windows four-pane sash, including dormer. To right six-panel door with plain transom light, and plain railing encloses small paved area to left. Mid platband carries in incised Roman `KINGS-MEAD TERRACE'. Slated mansard roof carried on eaves parapet, above blocking course and small cornice. Left return plain, and rear has raking four-pane dormer above small nine-pane sash and door with transom light. No stack. No.2 has two-bays, with three storeys and attic, to left wall canted, with panelled door below plain wall, and main front has small four-pane dormers above four-pane sashes at each level, paired to a plain stone mullion at ground floor. To right of door small paved area with railing, and platband above ground floor, and moulded cornice with blocking course and parapet. Mansard roof has coped gable to right, with deep stack over plain wall, and rear, in rough squared stone, has twelve-pane sashes, staggered, under two dormers.
INTERIORS: Not inspected. Sole survivors from substantial terrace, destroyed by bombing in 1942.
