Thirteen terrace houses, stepped steeply uphill. c1830 with late C19 and C20 alterations.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, double pitched slate and double Roman tile roofs to Nos 3-7 and 11-15, single pitched to Nos 7A-10, moulded stacks to left coped gable ends.
PLAN: Double depth plans.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys and basements, one and two-window range. Stepped coped parapets rise over left gable ends, stopped cornices (except Nos 7A-11 have eaves cornices), doors with narrow overlights to right, mostly late C19 plate glass sash windows. No.3 has double Roman tile roof, six/six-pane sash windows and flush four-panels door. No.4 has slate roof, plate glass sash windows and C20 four-panel door. No.5 has slate roof, six/six-pane sash windows and flush four-panel door. No.6 has double Roman tile roof, plate glass sash windows and half-glazed four-panel door. No.7 has double Roman tile roof, two/two-pane sash windows and six-panel door glazed to top. No.7A-10 later C19 with single-pitched double Roman tile roofs, plate glass sash windows and C20 doors except No.8 which has original flush four-panel door. Nos 11-15 have two-window range with double pitched double Roman tile roofs, parapets and cornices. No.11 has paired ogee panels below upper sills, margin panes to ground floor plate glass sash window, small horizontal two-light basement window and c1930 door. No.12 has six-panel door glazed to top and small horizontal window to basement. No.13 has C20 windows and door. No.14 to right has plate glass sash windows, C20 door. No.15 right return has C20 windows and door.
