Workshop. Early C19.
MATERIALS: Coursed rubblestone, pantile roof, timber and glass to first floor front.
PLAN: Rectangular plan with single storey lean-to to rear.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys, sixteen-window front. Consoles at eaves above window frames articulate continuous row of apparently fixed twelve-pane windows with some crown glass and horizontal trefoil ends to overlights on first floor. Continuous horizontal planking below windows is interrupted at centre where double half-glazed loading bay doors have similar windows. Continuous bressumer over ground floor serves as lintels to six nine-pane windows and C20 double doors to right of centre.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
HISTORY: This building may be Isaac Pitman's School of 1839.
