DAFFORD'S BUILDINGS,

Originally one house, now divided in two. Late C18/early C19 (first rating in street in 1794).
MATERIALS: Painted Bath limestone ashlar, Welsh slate roof.
PLAN: Originally double fronted, double depth central entry house, at some time divided two:one-bays with additional doorway.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys and attic, two:one bays. First floor platband, cornice string. Windows are six/six sashes without architraves. No. 12 has six-panel door with two glazed panels under flat hood on brackets. Door for No. 11 inserted beside this with hood continuing. Parapet, mansard roof, No. 11 has casement dormer. No. 12 plain sash, each has stack with pots shared with adjoining property.
Rear elevation not seen.
INTERIOR: Inspected by Bath Council 1983, Attic has wide elm boards and winder stair also elm.
