Three terrace houses with shop (No.1) on left hand corner in High Street. c1820 with C20 alterations.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, slate and pantile roofs with moulded stacks to party walls.
PLAN: Double depth plans.
EXTERIOR: Two and three storeys, single and two-window fronts. Coped parapets, cornices and platbands. No.1 has three storeys with some crown glass to two eight/eight-pane sash windows to upper floors and six-panel door to right with moulded panels. Flat arched carriage entrance to right has six/six-pane sash window above. Left return has one similar window to upper floors over C20 shop. Well-preserved painted advertisement at left end of Trafalgar Road front reads 'COME HERE FOR WILLS'S GOLD FLAKE CIGARETTES'. Nos 2-4 have C20 doors to left. No.2, two-window range has long timber lintel over C20 ground floor window. No.3, single-window range, has six/six-pane sash windows. No.4, single-window range, has plate glass sashes.
