Wide raised pavement and steps fronting Edgar Buildings (approximately 50 metres), continuation of high pavement before Nos. 13 to 18 George Street (qv), without railings. Probably C18, Edgar Buildings dates from 1761. Pennant stone. Six steps, curve forward at west, higher end. Steps run lengthways, and diminish in height to road level at the east end.
