End of row shop with accommodation over. Late C18 with C19 alterations.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar with Welsh slate roof.
PLAN: Part single depth and part double depth plan due to wedge shaped site.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys and attic, three windows to Vineyards, one on narrow end elevation. Ground floor has six-panel door with flush panels at bottom and glazed ones at top. Late C19 shopfront to right, three-light window with slim timber mullions, door to right, all timber except ashlar stallriser. Similar smaller shop window on end elevation. Platband partly destroyed by shop fascia boards. Sill band to first floor. Two six/six sashes to first floor, blind window to right, another six/six sash in narrow end. Second floor as first except centre window also blind. Cornice, parapet, mansard roof with paired flat-topped dormer with two/two sashes. Large ashlar stack on canted back wall.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
HISTORY: First shown on Harcourt Masters's map of 1793. This house probably approximates to the original appearance of Nos 21-23 (qv), pre-remodelling.
