Detached house. C18 origins, but extended and modified in early C19.
MATERIALS: Square block or rubble, some rendering, double Roman tile, some concrete tile roof.
PLAN: Original building was L-plan, with gable towards street, later range was added parallel with street. Lower flat roofed extension links to adjacent row of cottages at rear.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys. Main front faces east, and has plain gable, then set back main range has two two-light stone mullioned casements with horizontal bars, above similar three-light, with drip course, and, in internal angle, square flat roofed porch with crenellations over C20 door with side-light, inner door glazed, with margin panes. Further right flat roofed link, with two C19 doors. West front has coped gable with stack, above two-light with mullion and C20 steel casement. Slightly set back, middle section has late C20 light in hipped half-dormer over two-light with horizontal bars, main gable, with canted sash bay with lead hipped roof. At far left further door in low link block. Street front has two six-pane sashes in raised plat surrounds above two French doors. Gables coped, each with stack.
