Semi-detached houses, formerly cottages or barn. C18 origins, modified late C19.
MATERIALS: Squared and coursed rubble, ashlar quoins and dressings, some timber framing, pantile roofs.
PLAN: Single depth long range, with main entrances and frontage away from road.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys, four windows, two light casements with flush stone mullion, with diagonal leading, entrance front with two+two half-dormers with framed gables above two light. Right hand end in blocked wide elliptical opening, deep single storey gabled entrance wing projects to No.37. Bloomfield Avenue return jettied, gable and upper floor framed and with plastered panels, projecting gable with deep overhang on brackets covers oriel with 1:3:1-lights, set to moulded bressumer on stone brackets oversailing stone ground floor, with stone ovolo mould four light mullion and transom casement. Far gable coped, with saddle stone, and has two small pigeon openings. Rear or road front has three gablets on two light casements, and some smaller lights. No.36 has blocked former doorway. Party division coped, with square base to three decorative yellow clay `Tudor' pots, further base with similar pots to ridge of No.37.
INTERIORS: Not inspected.
A survival from earlier development in this area, but of interest also for its C19 details.
