Pair of terrace houses, now shop with accommodation over. Late C18, possibly with earlier core. Late C19 and C20 alterations. MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, now painted, with Welsh slate roof. PLAN: Narrow double depth plan, now amalgamated into one shop with central entrance. EXTERIOR: Three storeys and attic, two windows to whole, but arranged unevenly. Left hand (No.10) has sashes eight/eight flanked by blind architraves, to right (No.11) single plate glass sash, two/two. Moulded string to second floor, broken to centre, moulded cornice to parapet. Mansard attic with two gabled dormers, double to left. Plain c1840 shopfront with hood over cornice on two pairs of carved, fluted console brackets, right hand section of this has been reproduced to match when shops were amalgamated. INTERIOR: Not inspected except for shop. Green Street was laid out in 1716, and this building may contain an earlier structure. SOURCES: (Finch G: Shopfront Record, Bath City Council: 1992)
