A Grade II Listed Building in Leicester, City of Leicester

Former Eastgates Coffee House, church Gate.

Uploader's Comments

A purpose-built coffee house, it is part of a limited architectural legacy left by the Temperance movement, a considerable cultural force in the mid-late-C19. Built 1885 by Edward Burgess in the C16 timber framed stlye. (Photo Feb 2013).
