A former coach house and assembly room built in c1900, now in use as offices, probably by WJ Unsworth, as the Weston Public House it served (qv), to which it is attached.

MATERIALS: limestone ashlar with plain tile roof.
PLAN: built in C18 Cotswold vernacular style.
EXTERIOR: two storeys, on falling ground, so higher to south. Four-door coach house with paired modern steel doors and RSJ lintel. Five tall windows are two-light with mullion and two transoms. Eaves, plain roof with lead cupola to square ventilator with weathervane. Gable ends have recessed five light mullioned window in gable. Gables are coped with ball finials on kneelers. It has a single storey extension with lean-to roof at the street end. Three-light windows flanking two light. It has some other later alterations and extensions.
INTERIOR: not inspected, but likely to have been altered when converted into offices.
Built as a coach house to the Weston Inn (qv) with which it forms an important group, and giving the impression of being a stable block to a substantial house.
* Architectural interest: an unusual use of the Cotswold Vernacular style in Bath;
* Group value: with the adjacent Weston public house, also listed at Grade II, which it served.
