Description

18th century, with various 19th century additions.
Two-storey, original part with attic, harled rubble with
ashlar dressings. Original house gabled rectangle, 3-window
front with later single-storey central porch, ashlar with
crenellated parapet and flanking 19th century bipartites.
Central attic light under eaves. Original first floor
glazing. Gable 2-windows wide (one enlarged at 1st) and attic
light. Earlier 19th century 2-storey 3-window rear range at
right angles (modern picture window ground floor right)
taller at 1st floor with original glazing. Mid 19th century
one-window further extension. Corbelled angle turret with
conical roof. Glazed 1st floor corridor on courtyard side.
Shorter back wing on other side of court which is paved and
enclosed by low wall with 2 square ashlar gatepiers with
domical capping. Slated roofs with straight skews throughout,
tall stacks, some ashlar, some harled.
