Description

Earlier to mid 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house in
terrace, 1st floor windows breaking eaves in gabled
dormerheads. Dry dash with painted sandstone ashlar margins.
S elevation with door at centre (chamfered arrises), small
1st floor window above; window to each floor in outer bays.
Additions at rear. 4-pane glazing pattern in sash and case
windows. Grey slates. Mutual gable stacks (1 brick with
ashlar skew to right, 1 ashlar stack with no skew, to left).

Statement of Interest

Listed with its neighbours in the terrace for their

contribution to Ancrum Village, where they line the north side

of the village green. Greenmount is almost identical to its

neighbour to left, Green View.
