Description

Earlier 19th century 2-storey, 3-bay end-of-terrace house
with 1st floor breaking eaves. Dry dash, with cream sandstone
ashlar dressings; chamfered arrises. S elevation with door at
centre; deep-set panelled door with fanlight; window to each
floor in outer bays with 1st floor windows breaking eaves in
gabled dormerheads. Windows of irregular size at 1st floor
on left return elevation. Later 2-storey addition projecting
at rear.
4-pane glazing pattern in sash and case windows. Grey slates.
Brick stack to left, mutual gable stone stack to right.

Statement of Interest

Green View was previously adjoined on W elevation by further

terraced housing. It is listed, with its terraced neighbours,

for its place in the village context, lining the north side

of the village green with common eaves line and modest form.

The adjoining properties are Greenmount, The Cross Keys and

South View.
