Description

Later 19th century steading ranged around hollow square;
harl pointed rubble, tooled rubble dressings. Principal SE
front of single storey and loft height (all single storey to
rear); 3-bay cottage with gabled porch masking centre door
and paired gabled dormers fills S end of range; stables
and loft door breaking wallhead at N with 5 segmental headed
cart bays near centre. Square water tower rises above roof
ridge with pyramidal roof with tall cast-iron weathervane;
slate roofs.
