Description

Circa 1845. Asymmetrical cottage, 1 storey and attic, 3-bay.
Advanced and gabled right bay with canted bay window, centre
porch in re-entrant angle with simple bargeboards and wooden
finial.
Bracketted stone canopy over ground floor window, and
bargeboarded dormer above. South elevation has ground floor
canted bay with bargeboarded dormer above; lattice casements
survive in both bays. Red snecked ashlar with polished ashlar
dressings. Round ashlar chimney with square moulded cope.
Slate roof. Later service wing at south-east. Ashlar
gate-piers with pyramidal copes.
