Description

Large double pile house, rear portion mid/late 18th century
with early 19th century front block of 2 storeys and attic, 3
bays. All harled with stone margins. Later 19th century
projecting gabled porch; centre dormer of same date with
flanking later piended dormers. Late 19th/early 20th century
bow window rising full height with conical roof, to right.
Some 12-pane glazing; corniced end stacks; slate roofs.
Interior: enriched coved ceiling to drawing room.
Walled garden.

Statement of Interest

Appears in present form, except bow window, on 1st edition OS

(1878). Unfortunate modern glazing to bow window.
