Description

Manse; circa 1790 with additional front block of 1829, now forming double gabled, 2-storey, 3-bay house. All harled with tooled ashlar margins. Entrance in west gable of later block masked by square porch with piended roof. Further entrance in centre rear (north) 3-bay elevation. 3 window fenestration both floors in main south front with tripartites in ground floor outer bays (west window with blocked side lights); 12-pane glazing pattern; end stacks; slate roofs.

Garden walls; simple drystone walls enclose garden to front of house; rough cope.

Steading; 1829. Single storey, U-plan, 5-bay rubble steading facing west with south gable built into sloping site and with lower space served by 2 doors.

West elevation with projecting wings, to right (SW) with segmental headed gighouse entrance, matched to left (NW) by blind arched front fronting barn. 3 entrances in centre bays, one enlarged. Wallhead stack; piended slate roof. Front yard enclosed with rubble walls.
