Probably Robert Turnbull, 1875/6. 2-storey villa. Snecked
rubble, ashlar dressings, band between floors. Mullioned
windows to 2-bay east elevation, deep-bowed full-height
bay to left with iron roof finial. Square bay on north
flank, door set forward in glazed shallow projection.
Eaves/lintel band; bracketted wide eaves; stacks with
original decorative flues; piended shallow-pitch slate roof.
Rear wing altered 1982 and additions removed.
Interior has some distinctive "Thomsonesque" ornament.
