Description

Mid to later 18th century. 2-storey, 3-bay farmhouse
with later additions and alterations, circa 1840. Harled
with painted margins.
S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: original 3-bay house at centre
with 2 widely spaced narrow windows at ground to outer
left bay, former door at centre altered to window. Porch
addition to outer left bay, flat-roofed with blocking
course and cornice, panelled door with small-pane
fanlight. Single storey piend roofed projecting wing at
outer right added circa 1840, with canted windows to S
and E elevations. Single storey piend-roofed bay at
outer left with single window and dormer to W elevation.
N ELEVATION: 3-bay with flat-roofed porch at centre.
Further doorway in single storey bay to outer right.
Small window to 1840 extension at outer left, abutted by
steading range.
12-pane glazing to sash and case windows. Harled end
stacks; raised skews. Slate roofs.
