Description

Circa 1900. 2-storey, symmetrical double villa. Harled,
ashlar dressings and base course.
E AND W ELEVATIONS: roll-moulded, lugged architraves to
door with segmental pediment with 2 grouped narrow
windows to S, single to N and narrow 1st floor window
above, breaking eaves in ashlar gablet head. Full-height
rectangular projection, flat-roofed with 3-lights to front,
at outer N bay.
S ELEVATION: M-gable with 2 mirrored rectangular
projecting windows at ground floor, 2 1st floor windows
to each gable and small windows in gable heads.
N ELEVATION: M-gable. Flat-roofed, single storey projection
at centre with doorways in re-entrant angles.
Single 1st floor windows grouped at centre.
8, 12-pane glazing to sash and case windows. Timber
eaves brackets and barge-boarded gables. Harled stacks
with ashlar dressings. Turquoise slates.
INTERIOR: some good interior details. Pine panelling and
decorative plasterwork.
