Description

1794; repairs and additions, George Angus, 1829; further
repairs, 1844; alterations, W.C. Joass, 1894. 2-storey 3-bay
house with wings to rear harled with tooled ashlar margins.
1794 frontage with centre door marked by 1894 projecting
gabled porch with side entrance and later side light. 3
dormers in large gablets, with apex stack to centre and
renewed end stacks (all 1894). 1829 parallel wing to rear,
appearing as double pile at west with 1st floor drawing room
with coved ceiling (now divided). Further wing (1894) extends
north presenting east facing 2-storey, 4-bay frontage, with
1 single and 1 bipartite window rising into gabletted dormers
as in south front.
12-pane glazing; corniced end and ridge stacks (mainly
renewed or originating 1894); slate roofs.
