1793; porches and Minsiter's room, William Robertson, 1828.
Harled rubble, tooled granite dressings and (later) tooled
sandstone margins. Simple rectangular church with later
gabled centre 2-bay projection in long 4-bay S elevation;
2 windows in N elevation and single smaller gallery window in
each gable; all fenestration round-headed and with radial
and multi-pane glazing.
Simple gabled porch with round-headed entrance at E gable
and with plain bargeboards returning slightly to indicate
open pediment; similar detailing to W gable of 2-bay vestry-
porch.
Ball finialled bellcote at W gable; slate roofs.
INTERIOR: empty and used as store.
Building no longer in ecclesiastical use. Closed for worship,
circa 1974. Pews and pulpit re-used in Portree, Skye. Portion
of parish of Dundurcas added to Boharm Parish (and also to
Rothes) in 1792-3, when it was agreed to re-site parish
church in centre of new enlarged parish, superseding 1618
church sited in present burial ground.
Cottage in front of church was former parish school, also
designed by William Robertson in 1828, now much altered.
