Description

Circa. 1820. Small mansion house. 2-storey and basement,
3-windows by 2. Ashlar front with arched fanlight door-piece.
4-column distyle R-doric column porch with steps. Remainder
cherry cocked whin rubble with belt courses, broad-eaved
piend slated roof, twin chimneys with original square
tapered pots. Original glazing.

Statement of Interest

Built by the first John Pitcairn of Kinnard who purchased

the property in 1799: details suggest a rather later date.
