Description

Early 19th century. 2 cottages in unusual symmetrical
composition comprising 2-storey inner range with canted ends
and (altered) recessed single storey flanking bays.
Whitewashed rubble with contrasting painted ashlar margins.
Canted bays with sash windows with 12-pane glazing pattern,
central door at W; E-facing door in S bay: N bay widened in
both directions. Wall-head stacks. Piended slate roofs mostly
covered with graded slates, swept over additions and with
leaded finials.
