Barmagachan

Uploader's Comments

This house belonged to the Clan MacEachain sometime into the 17th Century. After a war, it was taken away from the family who fought on the losing side. It has been referred to as the family "castle" but in actuality is a stone manor house with a clear view all the way to the Irish Sea. The locals call it "Old Barney" and for some years had been rented out as a guest house for visitors to the area.
