Possibly 17th century. Substantial walled area, formerly
garden to Newbie house: walls built mainly of field-gathered
boulders.

Statement of Interest

To north of Newbie steading. Renaissance mansion built at

Newbie now demolished, but some stone fragments survive at

Newbie, and some buckle quoins at Hayknowes nearby.
